12v DC to 240v AC Power Inverters

Inverters that convert 12 volt DC to 240 volt AC are by far the most common type of power inverter sold in Australia, in large due to the fact that the vast majority of car, 4WD and caravan power systems run on 12 Volts DC, so chances are you will need a 12v inverter. They come in a large variety of Wattages to power virtually any 240v electrical appliance from a few hundred Watts to many thousand so you can be sure that there is an inverter that will meet your needs.

Although sometimes referred to as 12v power converters or dc to ac converters it is best to refer to them correctly to avoid any confusion when purchasing.

We recommed that you double check just to make sure you dont need a 24 volt inverter instead which some power systems operate from.
